It’s time to give glass its job back.
Glare makes screens unreadable. Hot spots make workstations unusable. Occupants reach for the blinds and pull them down. Then they stay down and not just when the glare is bad. The glass that was supposed to make the building better is now doing the opposite.
So the “solutions” go up:
Blinds & Shades
Tinted Films
Clear glass transmits light along a direct path. Tinted, acid-etched, and white-laminated glass can reduce transmission or add privacy, but they do not provide the wide-angle, engineered light diffusion of Glare Repair®. Glare Repair® uses the same light-diffusing fibre veils found in Solera® to scatter incoming daylight across the treatment area, helping reduce the bright-dark contrast that causes glare.
Before
After
It’s the answer you give a client who calls six months after occupancy. Glare Repair® closes the loop on a post-occupancy problem without touching the original design intent.
It’s a retrofit service for qualifying existing windows. No IGU replacement is required, and the existing glass, frame, and opening stay in place. After a site review, it can be a straightforward, billable way to address glare for your clients.
It’s the fix you’ve been looking for since the blinds went up. Same glass. Same frame. Same opening. For qualifying existing windows, no IGU replacement is required.
Glare Repair® is a piece of glass incorporating our signature light-diffusing fibre veils, specifically configured to match the visible light transmittance (VLT) needed to manage glare in your space. Every installation is different — the configuration is engineered to your glazing, your orientation, and your occupancy. We offer a complimentary Radiance daylight model to determine the exact configuration your project needs before anything is ordered or installed.

For nearly 30 years, Solera® has set the standard for highly insulating, light-diffusing glass. For new construction or a full renovation, it is the purpose-built solution for bringing abundant, usable daylight into a building while addressing glare and solar hot spots at the source.
But full IGU replacement isn’t always the right call. When the existing glass is in good condition and window replacement is not part of the project plan, Glare Repair® is the targeted retrofit for qualifying existing windows. It addresses post-occupancy glare without turning a focused improvement into a full window-replacement project.
We took the same light-diffusing fibre-veil technology used in Solera® and engineered it as an interior glass treatment for qualifying existing windows. No IGU replacement required for qualifying existing windows.
Yes. Glare Repair® is a light-diffusing interior glass treatment for qualifying existing insulated glass, used where a direct view through that part of the opening is not required. It helps soften glare without replacing the existing window.
Glare Repair® is used above, beside, or below key sightlines, where it can diffuse glare-prone daylight while the views that matter stay clear.
Not every window is a fit. If an uninterrupted view through the full opening must remain, Glare Repair® is not the right fit for that area. It is also not recommended for skylights, tempered glass, or insulated glass units with moisture issues or leaks. We review the existing glazing, orientation, room use, and desired sightlines before recommending a configuration.
No. Glare Repair® is not window film, an IGU replacement, or a secondary-glazing system. It adds a light-diffusing interior glass treatment for qualifying existing conditions.
*Glare Repair® is not recommended for use in skylights, on tempered glass, or on IGUs that have moisture issues or leaks.
